In this Watercolor Landscape Basics Workshop, I start with introduction to material, media, painting process, Drawing basics and composition basics. As we progress, I show step by step watercolor painting process on a small size painting. On day two of watercolor landscape basics workshop, we paint A4 size watercolor landscape using the basics shown. At the end of this workshop you have 2 medium size watercolor landscapes paintings in your hand.

Day 1
- Introduction to media and art material
- Understanding Colors, using gravity, water & brushes
- Creating watercolor monochrome color scale
- Landscape assignment – 01 – small
Day 2
- Basics of drawing, composition and focus in painting
- Landscape assignment – 02 – step by step
- QnA & conclude
Fee – 1200/- INR per person
For this workshop, you need following art material with you –
- 270 GSM cold press rough handmade paper block.
- Artist watercolor set tubes,
- Brushes 4 inch flat brush for wash, 2,6,8,10 squirrel hair / synthetic round brush
- Watercolor palette
- Pencil, eraser, cutter
- Water containers ( any large waste plastic jar)
- Rough drawing papers for sketching
- Drawing board or any stiff board
